Anzu Ikeda is a cheerful and outgoing elementary school student who loves to make people laugh. She has a talent for mimicry and can perfectly imitate the voices of her favorite anime characters. Her best friend is a boy named Usotsuki Mi-kun, who is known for his ability to tell the most outrageous lies. One day, while playing with Mi-kun, Anzu accidentally breaks her friend's favorite toy, a small robot named Ma-chan. Mi-kun is heartbroken and refuses to speak to Anzu for a week.
